Agreed! The departure lounge at Taoyuan International Airport has a lot of interesting things to see -- a lotus flower exhibit, displays about Taiwanese aboriginal tribes, etc.
I think the seated figure was roughly the size of a human head -- maybe a little smaller than that. However, it's hard to recall accurately.
Yes, it was taken with my new camera. Taking photos in manual mode still takes a lot of work -- and they don't always come out in focus -- so shutter-priority tends to be my preferred setting at the moment.
