a typo i found: not 당풍 but 단풍, so not dangpung but danpung .. ;-)

whose literal meaning is
단丹 = Red
풍楓 = maple
so its literal meaning was or is the maple leaves turned into red, but has long been used to mean the autumn color change of autumn leaves.
