The sweetest thing ever just happened to me. I was putting Evelyn to sleep, and all was going well until I went to lay her down. When she hit the mattress, she woke up a little bit, and searched desperately for me and started kissing my arm. I should hope if she has that serious of a stomach bug, that everyone woudl understand why you wouldn't want to go up there and expose your family to that! I know things can be dicey with family, but stomach bugs are just a big NO. Avoid at all costs! Ugh. I'm still irked that my uncle infected us all with the stomach flu last summer.

And yeah, I think you are well within the bounds of normal behavior to avoid exposing your tiny tot and yourselves to a stomach bug so bad that it sent your cousin to the hospital. I mean, DUH. Too bad, so sad. Maybe next time, family.
