Very nice fic. It was so obvious that Daniel was really worried about Sam in Death Knell, and out of all the alternate realities out there, why can't there be at least one where the two of them are together? I love how Daniel keeps that thought alive.

That is just so angsty and painful in a good way (My favorite S/D fic are full of UST and angst).

Glad you felt comfortable to share your work; I know how hard it can be to publish your first fic for a ship that many hate. Hope you will grace us with many more.
