The constant beat of the rain had kept Sam up. Normally the reverberating sounds lulled her into deeper sleep, but not today.
No, today was a day of strangenesses.
Foremost among these; Sam had somehow found herself in Brooke’s room.
No clear explanation presented itself to her immediately. Further thought was obviously required. Had she left something in here?
Had she even been in here in the last…ever?
Deep introspection was, wisely, put off for later dates and less incriminating states.
Sam found herself mesmerized by the rise and fall of her blonde housemate’s breathing. It seemed to somehow complement the rain. Brooke shifted causing the covers, already dipping dangerous low on her abdomen, to shift off her abdomen and indeed hips completely.
Thus was it that Sam’s brain; quietly, neatly, and completely disassembled itself.
