The second they heard that it was about time for Mac to start speaking they were both rabid, and the battle begun. Sam automatically assumed that she’d win, after all ‘Sam’ was a lot easier to say than ‘Brooke’. Brooke however, was convinced of her younger sisters’ grasp of the harder syllables, and wasn’t fazed by Sam’s confident smirk.
Of course, that didn’t mean she couldn’t come up with a few ways to wipe the smirk from her for the fun of it. Ten minutes later after she was sure that Sam’s mind was nowhere near first words, she slipped her fingers underneath the boy-cut undies Sam was so fond of.
“Wet!” both girls stilled, eyes wide as saucers, and turned slowly to their sister who was giggling at the sound of her very first word.
