I'm anxious now, in case you don't like it... There are people who don't. You know how over invested you get in books you really love, and you start fretting in case other people don't like them as much.

I dislike truly atrocious writing, wanky hipster shite about how miserable everything is and how under appreciated the author is, and James Joyce. Really. Anything else, I'm usually more than happy to read.

You absolutely should. With any luck, editions in other countries won't have that absolutely horrific picture on the front cover.

I always wanted to be Flora Poste when I grew up. I still do, actually.

There are people out there who do not find Cold Comfort Farm funny. I try not to think about that though, because it destroys my faith in humanity.

I know! I saw some of them on Goodreads. I found it v difficult to empathise. To me, that's lie being colour blind or something - I just literally can't imagine what it's like.
