Here via copperbadge.

I like the themed names and the baby goats are totally adorable.

What do you think of doing herbs and spices? Basil, Bay, Ginger, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Coriander (nicknamed Cory), and Rosemary

:)

Aren't they though! :D

Their little squishy goaty toes really are too much! :D

City names are a brilliant idea too! How do I choose between Halifax and Coriander? Life is hard man! :D

I am leaning towards spice names, dulse will definitely be in the mix! :D

They live on a forty acre farm in Michigan, the babies moved out to the barn yesterday where they are snuggled in a pen made out of straw bales. Goats are actually fairly easy animals to keep, compared to like cows or horses. We often let the goats graze the yard in the summertime instead of mowing(though they do eat trees and flowers if you don't fence them away). And they are so much fun!

Here via copperbadge's Radio Free Monday. Excessive cuteness is what I needed on a grey morning *G*

For the trio how about Harpo, Groucho and Chico? Or Trotsky, Lenin and Marx (I had three black and white cats named this and we created quite a stir at the vets)!

I want goats so bad I might explode! Especially baby goats! Thank you for sharing this adorableness with us! I'm going to second the herb idea. Basil, Parsley, Bay would be precious names for your baby goats.

Baby goats are the answer to everything!(Why does the earth revolve around the sun? cause there are baby goats, of course. Is there life on other planets? Well, there are baby goats! Does a god(or gods) exist? If gods do exist they are sure to be baby goats! And so on. :D)

I do like the spice names suggestion!

Your welcome!

My oldest sister keeps talking about when she retires to write mystery novels and make cheese. I'm trying to talk her out of sheep- stupid things that they are- and into goats. She's slowly coming around. I think world peace might be around the bend if I win that argument. :D
I was trying to think if the Billy Goats Gruff had names, because how precious would that be, but then you'd have to give all the Goatlings Fairy tale/fable names.

Hey now! We have sheep, too. :D Goats are certainly more...mischievous, and headstrong and stubborn than sheep, which sort of gives them more personality, I agree. But lambs are just SO cute and fuzzy and sweet!

I don't think the Billy Goats Gruff did have names, did they? I can't remember.

Here via copperbadge: What about classic novel authors, (like Charles Dickens, H.G. Wells, Emily and Charlotte Bronte, etc.) or the characters from the books themselves? (Charles Darnay and Sydney Carton, Lucie Manette from A Tale of Two Cities; Catherine Earnshaw, Edgar Linton, and Nelly Dean, from Wuthering Heights; Edward Prendick, Doctor Moreau, and Montgomery, from The Island of Doctor Moreau by H.G. Wells)

Oh! That's a good idea! I think it would have to be just last names or something, cause Catherine Earnshaw and Edward Prendick are a bit of a mouth full for a little goaty.
