Still a lot to be thankful for

The food was simple, and there wasn't much of it, but there was food. Sandwiches and friend potatoes for dinner, eggs and a pumpkin spice waffle for breakfast. What are friend potatoes? Do tell; I love spuds in any form! Oh, just realised they might be fried ones, but YUM! And it's the season for fried potatoes (see icon).

And waffles for breakfast is very indulgent; good for you! I've never had that.

Waffles are normally a breakfast item here. We just heated frozen ones, but it was good.

And it was fried potatoes with a typo.
