Today I started to wonder if I looked pregnant. This would be distressing if I weren't actually pregnant. Up until now, any baby bump has been camoflauged by my natural paunch, but I think I'm now getting to the point where I look pregnant rather than just overweight. Matt seems to think so, at least. I've been suffering from knitters block for a while, but I'm hoping to break out of it. My mom and I are headed to the yarn shop this weekend. She's promised to knit us a baby blanket. I've got the more modest goal of a baby sweater.

We've been pretty quiet up to now, but we're into the second trimester and Sam's starting to show, so there's little point in being secretive any more.

Seriously, I can't complain. I had some mild nausea the first trimester, but nothing too bad. I feel really lucky. Everything's been going so well so far. I just hope it continues.
