I admit I didn't expect angst, but this worked out so perfectly! (and I realize the pairing wasn't one of the easiest to manage...)
I love how you used Shizuka to explore more Dimitri's character and the whole "bad or wrong" thing. Claire's references are always sad, but I love so much how Dimitri's character revolves around her. And I found so adorable and perfect that Shizuka takes Jonouchi as example when explaining her motive to Dimitri. This really worked out well! :D

I admit that for these two I couldn't really think of anything other than angst, especially since Dimitri was involved. XD And I was worried this was pretty far-removed from Shizuka's character, but then she was rarely involved in the card game stuff and her love for her brother was her strongest character trait, so I hoped running with that would be enough. XD
