You always pick the best characters to put in a room together. I never would've thought about Anne and Cordelia hitting it off like this.

Of course, given the point in the time line this takes place, I could see Cordelia needing to find a little soul sanctity.

Cordy is a giver. In her own, uh, special way.

Actually, in "Thin Dead Line", Cordelia didn't have a problem helping out Anne at the shelter. They also helped fend off the zombie cop assault. So, there's some canon background I can work with.

My experience with Angel the Series runs at about six years old, first season aside. There's a lot about it I don't remember. I was under the impression that Anne went from lost girl in Buffy Season 3 premiere to competent shelter runner in Angel finale.

Clearly... not quite.
