just finished watching it! um, i don't have too many feelings towards it. i liked that cat was able to trick sam even though sam claims to be "untrickable", which kind of helps put things in a slightly more realistic light. i was glad that cat wasn't upset about sam getting her back, either, just kind of went with it - it didn't make for much of an ending, but, you know. overall it was a pretty 'meh' episode; it had its moments but for the most part it wasn't memorable - definitely not what us sam/cat shippers were hoping for when we first heard of the kiss!

(on the bright side, at least we know that jennette and ariana have kissed, right? ;))

The first half pleased me, the second didn't. I can't say why, but I didn't like the way the kiss went down.

the kiss was very - nonchalant, i guess? which, honestly, is a good thing in its own right, since no one made a big deal about a girl kissing a girl (other than maybe cat, who seemed to be more shocked that she was kissed at all). for nickelodeon and a show geared towards kids/tweens, it's really awesome to see same sex kisses no matter what the context (and i wasn't entirely displeased with the context, either; it was neither satisfying or annoying, just kind of there).

i mean, i guess i sort of wish that sam and cat kissed and not melanie and cat, but, whatever. i was very indifferent towards it.

Maybe that's it, yeah. Still, I wish Melanie would show up more- her single appearance in this shows she's *way* more tolerable then Sam.
