If circumstances were impossible to bend, would you still fight against it? If fate was already written for you, how would you change it?

Finally... Would these actions be considered wise or foolish?

I find it's best to live with the circumstances you have.

Even if those circumstances aren't the most agreeable?

They cannot be changed.

If that is what you truly believe... then what do you make of this world?

In what way do you mean 'impossible to bend'? Do you mean the past, the present or the future?

The present and the future. What lies before you now and what you know will remain in days to come.

Oh. In that case it's quite foolish to expect that there is nothing that will prove to be unexpected - your actions or otherwise. People have a wonderful habit of being surprising.

Then the future is unknown.

Fighting your fate usually only brings it to you in a different way than was originally intended. But the fight has to be made, for your own self-respect and peace of mind. Wise or foolish, there really isn't a difference - the only part that matters is how you view your own decisions and actions, and if you're able to be at peace with yourself in the aftermath.

Then you pave your own road, create your own destiny no matter the trials. What matters in the end is how your view yourself and your actions.

And yet... what if the fight for it was near impossible to begin with? What if the fate you wish to bring to yourself was unattainable?

Not just how you view it, but if you can accept it. If you can't stand to look at yourself afterwords, then the situation will only get worse.

Then the only thing you can do is try to the best of your ability - and know when to stop fighting. Continuing to fight after a certain point is a useless waste of energy, but that point is different for everyone and knowing how to recognize yours is a skill that some people don't want to take the time to develop. After that, you have to decide what else about the situation you can change to make it more like what you want. I tried to evade my fate for years, and it still found me. And so now that I've stopped fighting it, and accepted that it's what I really have to do, I'm finding those parts of it I can adapt to something I like better. It's a slow process, but it seems worth it in the end.

I suppose that answers my first question. But how can you change it when there's no visible way of doing so?

It could be hidden away so deeply that it may take your whole life to find. Would you still do this?

Motivation to do something tends to fall every time an attempt is met with failure. It's a natural part of life that I have seen countless times. The same applies to this world.
