This was said to me last night by a friend I don't get to see very often:
"Wow. May I just say, you are aging very well! I mean you have always been beautiful, but you are just....stunning." And then he sat next to me and stared at me for awhile.

seriously.
i know how you feel, because i can be similar. i do like myself...but like anyone else i know my flaws and wohat i want desperately to improve.
but to have someone compliment me that way, genuinely, is so wonderful. kind words can so make a gal's day. (make anyone's day, really.)
for the record, i think you're very pretty, and judging by how you look/act/speak... i have a feeling we were meant to be friends. i look forward to our RL meeting. <3

was it j who said it? i can just see him saying that, i swear he possesses some sort of magic in the area of charm. he has to be one of the sweetest charmers on the planet. no wonder so many girls swoon over him! i have to admit to my fair share of daydreams involving him.. when i was single for 2 seconds, of course ;). one time he called pete when we first got together and i could hear him on the phone saying.. "cassandra..?" and pete said, "she's friends with rachel and justin jonte" and j said, "OHHH that cassandra.. most beautiful eyes in the world. you're a lucky man, my friend." seriously, he is GIFTED in complimenting. but you know he doesn't give compliments unless he really means them. how sweet of him to say that! especially at our "age" when we are conscientious about the fact that we are aging, if only ever-so-slightly.
maybe the seminar allows you to see more true beauty in people? possible!
