PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE: Comes from an upper-middle class family that lives in one of the quieter, nicer sections of Melior. Ness was a student at a well known medical school before joining the Winding Way.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE: Ness' Nightmare, which is now dormant, is only known to the crew of the Winding Way who was around to witness it, and to other people who found out one way or another.
POP CULTURE PHENOMENON?: Probably the most famous PSI user in Reial. PSI isn't widely known, though, mostly due to it being a trait you are born with, and very few people are born with it. Only magic enthusiasts are likely to know of it. Ness is also relatively known for his wonder story of being a medical school dropout who became a full-fledged and respected doctor of the Winding Way. Also, Ness' sister Tracy runs Melior's biggest delivery service.

PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE: None really. He prefers to keep himself as an enigma wrapped in a mystery hidden behind a hail of gunfire.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE: Anyone familiar with the relatively seedy parts of Bellcius may have heard of the Devil of the Underworld, a young crime lord you ascended quickly into a position of prominence in the Bellcius underworld by blackmailing and extorting everyone in a position of authority, and having a damn impressive piece of muscle (Agon) to back it up. He disappeared suddenly a while back, and everyone's been breathing a bit easier since.
POP CULTURE PHENOMENON?: Keke, not yet.

PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE: Milk came from a demihuman settlement in Erealia and was a weapons maker of small note when she came into the capital with two other villagers to get help when the town was attacked by monsters. Most people on Reial won't have heard of her, but those from her home nation may have if they paid enough attention to the news.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE: Milk = Kurumi = Milky Rose - the whole Way knows this, but she likes to keep it quiet outside, partially so she can pass as human and avoid stares and whispers, and partially because people are looking for Milk and no one knows Kurumi. Also, the Milky Palette holds the crystal that keeps her human, and she didn't always have the ability to transform; the latter is common knowledge if you look into her background, the former unspoken but easy to figure out.
POP CULTURE PHENOMENON?: Milky Rose is known as a mysterious wind/ice mage who kidnapped a weapons maker (her own mascot form, no less) and stole her supplies along with her. She probably wouldn't have been heard of outside the ( ... )

PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE: Not much.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE: Beat has atiny bit of magic. It is luck based, causing him to survive strange things in exchange for general bad luck almost any other time. He himself doesn't know this, but anyone who can sense magic might be able to figure it out.
POP CULTURE PHENOMENON?: Not exactly, but Beat has made some public posts that have ranged from idiotic, to oddly thoughtful. A large pre-peace talks debate was held on his journal. So... he might be getting popular on the internet? ^^;;

PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE: He's a Lieutenant Commander in the Ivonian military with a very ...colorful service record.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE: Those well-connected will probably know about his involvement in the Bydan uprising in Vohemar when he was younger. See his app for the gritty details.
POP CULTURE PHENOMENON?: Not yet, but some day...
