Every so often I pop back to LJ, because I loved it so much back in the day, to see what's going on. My latest obsession: Supernatural. And I mean SERIOUS compulsive fic-writing obsession. Which is the best kind, obviously. ;)

So...just wondering if there's anyone on my flist who's a SPN fan?

I miss the good old days when there were vibrant communities. LJ is such a good platform for conversations. FB is OK for a bit of a chat, but not for anything more than that. I'm not a fan of twitter and don't do things like tumblr or anything else.

It would be nice if we could get the band back together!

But also, I think that the people I knew on my flist have mostly fragmented into such a range of fandoms. But if they all still used LJ, it would be a lot better!

It's Sherlock for me, these days (just discovered it last November, lol), though no writing, just enjoying fic.

Oh I love Sherlock! I wrote some fic for that too, a few years ago. It's posted over at AO3.

Read all your Sherlock fics and they are just brilliant! As for the Christmas special, I love it, the perfect gift for all the Sherlock fans out there (though I'm not sure what someone unfamiliar with Seasons 1-3 would make of it).

Well, hey there! SPN does still have a bit of a fandom presence on LJ, though afaik it skews more toward Sam/Dean or Sam&Dean than Dean/Cas. Still, you could do worse than check out spn_bunker for chat -- it's a nice, friendly, wank-free comm. :)

Hello! Nice to see you here. :) Thanks for the rec, I'll definitely check out that comm - I'm looking for a place to talk SPN. I only started watching it back in August, so I have years of fandom to make up for and most of my fandom friends aren't really into the show.

As I understand it the Dean/Cas fandom is mostly on Tumblr, which is... Well, I do look at it sometimes but I don't really get how you have a conversation on Tumblr, and some of the stuff on there is a little crazy. I think LJ is a way better forum for fandom, but I guess people vote with their feet. A shame, though, because I used to live on LJ a few years ago. I'll have to go hunting and see what else I can find!

Well, I am still here in my lonely Sparrabeth corner.... LOL! Man I gotta tell you how lonely THAT is.........dead as a door nail, so I play in my cofin solo... LOL. Ever since Florencia7 left, it is just a few of us around. I finally went over to TUMBLR, but people do not read there, only into graphics from what I can tell.
