Spent most of Friday with gandsgirl, trying ethnic restaurants (Ethiopian and Nepalese), watching Jeeves and Wooster, discussing my good/okay/bad/awful driving at turns when it was any of the above listed, and having unexpected car trouble ("Is the front of the car smoking?"). *disowns you!* >:O *...lies, like a lying thing* I own a Good Charlotte CD and have also met the band. Not too long after people really started noticing them, actually. Not like a "zomg hi! let us 2 b best freinds nao!" sort of way or anything - I didn't even know who they were at the time - but they were picking an acquaintence of mine up from school while they were in town on tour. She'd been a neighbor of the Maddens' or something.

*omg! disowned!* I heard one of their songs in South Africa and it got my attention, and although I know nothing about them (besides the fact that they appear to be fairly commercialistic and, you know, fake), I thought I'd pay them some attention. They don't appear to be very good. -- My cousin informs me that her librarian is the White Stripes' mother, Li'l Kim goes to the bank where she works, and my manager used to work for Sir Mixalot. Weird musical connections there.

I LOVE ETHIOPIAN FOOD! There's a great place on Roosevelt, it's cheap and they give you A LOT of food and they're really nice. <3
