"...how hard is it not to punch your editor?" actually made me giggle, not because you were punched but because I remember thinking that back when I was forced to edit for lit mag. They then proceded to give me not credit whatsoever for it.

*hugs* People are amazingly stupid/dense/etc. sometimes.

It's incredible how many people think editors are just human spellcheckers. I don't know why they don't bother crediting us (I haven't gotten copy editor credit for the last two years). Furthermore, I don't understand why they actually think it's okay to punch the person who has power over what gets published.

I'm sorry you have to deal with this guy, he sounds like a pain in the ass. Or just a plain ass.

The sentence structure in the second paragraph hurts my head.

He is. He made what should have been a twenty-minute correction take an hour and a half.
