By end of manga do you mean end of the emishi arc? or after the little one off with Kenji?

Yes, sorry. I meant after the end of the main body of the manga rather than the two 'post-series' bits. Actually, that's why I specified ten years rather than five because I'm pretty sure that's when both the Yahiko story and the picnic one shot take place.

Can I go alitte of what you have stated and go to Naruto? And your thoughts on the relationship between the three senin and the relationship between Naruto and Sasuke and Sakura and how this would work as a foreshadow or as a foil to thier apprentices?

hrmm.... I'll have to reread the manga. So it might be awhile. Not that the two kenshin drabbles haven't taken awhile... This last week has just been full of lazy days, headaches and doctor's appointments. So my mornings (whenI like to write) have been busy.
