We had a bomb threat at my school earlier in the year. We had a random one four years ago, too, and the first year I went to my school some man who was kicked out of the school in his teens sent out hate mail and threats to the school on stolen school stationary, and when they searched his room they found all of these machine guns in it and he got thrown in jail. This year someone sent a letter in saying that if the school didn't cancel this event it'd been planning then they'd bomb it. Our school decided to still have it and just hired officers and members of the FBI who volunteered to monitor it, but then they got another letter and wound up cancelling it. Now we have to have all of these crazy emergency drills because they never found out who sent the letters. At least now the insane tuition money they make us pay goes into somewhere useful and not into more topiaries, I guess...

p.s. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! ♥
