Nope. I stopped watching Lost this season (but am keeping up w/ the plot, somewhat). Since you mentioned it, I went & looked at the recap: it doesn't say what happened specifically, but I'm guessing it had to do w/ the Locke chess thing and not the Sawyer ping pong thing? :P

So what happened? Did Locke blow up the island or marry the smoke monster or what?

Ugh Locke chess thing was utterly retarded. He didn't blow up the island, almost blew up Kate (but sadly didn't) and instead blew up the house the others had in the valley with satellite that could reach the outside world. The cooler part about the episode was Sayyid (can't spell it). :D (Sawyer ping pong was pointless too.)
