Aw thanks, I try. :)

If you have a gmail account, you can get a personalized Google homepage with modules of news headlines, little games, etc. It's like a Yahoo/MSN/etc homepage except cooler because there are cute little games and animations and stuff, and also because you can see headlines from any website or blog that supports RSS feeds. Anyway, now they added tabs so you can organize the modules onto different pages, and the front page won't be as crowded.

TA probably deserved that one :P they'll have a private chat afterwards, wherein the prof is nice to TA and the TA learns that with great power comes great responsibility.

btw, i'm playing violin tonight in jester a121a @ 8PM if you have time to swing by. i promise not to sound bad :D

Haha. That's true until one gets tenure, yes? XP

Sure, I can swing by Jester tonight. What is it for? (Are you having your own solo concert? o.O)

actually, maybe the TA is an undergrad...in which case the prof has no compelling reason to be nice to him. even lowly grad students must fear the wrath of a professor...only the almost-done grad students need to be coddled before they go insane and waste all the prof's hard work :p

tenure, bah! before tenure, profs are irresponsible in all regards in pursuit of publications and fame. which means they teach not-so-greatly (imho anyway). after tenure, they are not responsible for anything except their own dignity :p

i'm doing a 45min to an hour set with hope student life...they're my only contact with ppl my age every week...for the next three months. thanks to this commitment though, my ability to improv is approaching decent. one day i will pick up country fiddle improvisation and become a nashville instrumentalist. ha...they're never going to let asians in the country music scene...or the celtic fiddle scene...
