Glad you guys found some carpet you liked. Hope it all works out. I bet that's so exciting, I can't wait til we move out and I can start looking at the stuff.

Oh Sally, I am soooooo tired. Sierra is not sleeping good. The last week she has decided to boycott her crib... and I'm also nursing her less during the day. Do you think this is just a phase? Did Robbie ever have problems sleeping in his bed? OH HELP... I think I might lose my mind if I don't get some sleep.

yes, he did.. and he still does.. we've always just brought him to bed with us when he wakes up.. I know that's not always good to do.. but when it's either no one gets to sleep.. or everyone gets to.. we think it's better for us to all sleep.. he wakes right back up when he goes back to his crib.. but will sleep all night if he's in our bed.. I decided my sanity was more important than insisting he sleep in his bed.. we've tried several times to get him to stay in his bed.. and it's just too hard on us all.. so i've decided that when he's old enough to understand that 'big boys sleep in their own bed' he can do that.. but until then.. I'm not going to make him cry all night and let none of us get any sleep.. =)

I completely know what you mean. I'm still nursing her... about 3 times a day, so in the morning when I feed her I just let her stay in the bed with us. I fall asleep half the time while she's eating. I just wondered if you had any "special tricks". I know that I can't have another night like Wednesday night. It was horrible. She pretty much cried from 3 to 6 am... she'd fall asleep for about 20 minutes and then wake up and cry. It was NOT fun. But then last night she stayed in her bed all night. I don't understand!! LOL.. and it's driving me nuts. I just want some good sleep. I guess that's kinda impossible to ask for right now with her still so little. Oh well, guess I can dream.

it's one of the difficult things about breastfeeding that people don't realize.. I did the same thing you do.. I'd fall asleep while I was feeding Robbie.. by the time they're 6 months old.. you are so worn out from never getting a full night's rest.. that you can't possibly stay awake the whole time.. so that got him started sleeping with us.. and when he wakes up time after time of being put back in his bed.. it just doesn't make sense to me.. I'd rather us all get some sleep!.. I wish I could help you more.. but there never is an easy solution when it comes to anything having to do with your child!!..
