Who: Phoenix and Yuffie When: April 3 Where: Their Apartment What: It's raining and its pouring...and Phoenix is scared. Time for the ninja girl to be kind? Pfff, maybe. Warnings: Ninja stars, possibly law jargon and lawls.
Phoenix most certainly did pick up after himself! He was fairly easy to live with, as far as people go. He keeps the kitchen clean, and he keeps the bathroom even cleaner-- and if he's cooking, he'd most certainly cook for Yuffie, too. Well, if she's there-- if not, it goes in fridge for later.
Needless to say, Phoenix was quite the roommate, despite his being used to living alone.
Although the last couple of days, Phoenix had been in quite a bad mood-- he didn't let it show with Yuffie, of course-- she'd done nothing wrong, after all! His mood made a turn for the worst, however, when it started raining. He could handle a little rain; rain never hurt anyone.
It was when the thunder rolled overhead that he stiffened and looked up, a hand clenching on the arm of the couch; reflects were always so interesting.
Oh, God, not now, he thought bitterly, bringing his legs up to his chest and wrapping his arms around them. it's just a storm, Phoenix, you've experienced worse. It didn't stop him flinching when the lightning struck outside,

When Yuffie went into the kitchen she didn't look at the living room. She didn't expect anyone to be there, including her roommate. The apartment was basically quiet if one ignored the booming thunder and harsh pitta-patta of the rain. Huming a tune she made up on the spot Yuffie began to comb through the cupboards looking for something that could make hot chocolate.
It's simple. Hot water, chocolate and milk, right? I mean it can't be that difficult.... The ninja girl though, closing the cupboard she was looking in only to open another one. The inside contents were somewhat full telling the ninja girl she needed to go grocery shopping soon, but to do that she needed monnies. And to get monnies...she needed a job...or hunt a few monsters

He jumped when he heard her voice, wearily looking up for just a moment before hiding his head in his arms again.
"Nothing," he mumbled disjointedly. Were he in his normal state of mind, he'd explain, once again, that he wasn't Turkish. He had no idea how he managed to gain the nickname 'Turkey', but it always made him feel slightly uncomfortable. Although it seemed no amount of persuasion seemed to change her mind, so for now, he just let it pass.
He smiled weakly at the poor joke, moving his head up to peek at her through his arms.
Yuffie blinked her eyes twice at Phoenix. So Turks were apparently scared of thunder storms. Whoa. I thought ShinRa prepared them for this type of thing...then again they didn't train Zack in the art of cooking...go figure. A smile tugged at the corners of her lips. Now! Now! Don't...laugh at him....Karma will bite me in the ass. Yuffie had to cover her mouth for a moment as she took a seat next to him.
"Thunderstorms aren't that bad. There's worse out there you know," Yuffie began. She wasn't the comforting type of girl. Sure, she could be but right now she would try to get Phoenix's mind off of the storm. The young girl began to tap her chin in thought.
"Like...OH!" she snapped her fingers just in time with the thunder. "Like there was this one time when there was an army of Heartless waiting to destroy everything in Hollow Bastion! Like, thousands! And boy were they hungry for hearts~ I swear, killing one only made two more pop up but that's nothing compared to the Meteor that almost destroyed Gaia!"

"I just don't like thunderstorms."
