Sesshomaru had decided to take advantage of his accumulated monies to see if he could find a weapon as worthy as Tokijin. So far, he had failed to find a weapons smith anywhere. He had just decided to try a different direction when a new scent assailed his senses.

Sesshomaru recognized that scent. He hadn't realized that it had been missing from the other familiar odors of the town until it now came wafting along the breeze. It was coming from behind, so he merely turned and waited.

Kagome was so involved with her shopping and feelings of home that she wasn't paying attention to where she was going. Next thing she knew, she felt something solid and was that...fur, before she started falling backwards.

Sesshomaru's hand shot out in a blink of an eye to steady her. He didn't need the embarrassment of a human falling near him.

"Why are humans so clumsy?" he wondered aloud.

Ken was getting frustrated. After all this time that the voice had been gone, he was still ridiculously jumpy. It was enough to make him jerk every time someone stepped on a stick or tripped over a rock and made a loud enough noise.

He did it again as Kagome passed by, jumping as she stepped on something and knocking his soda off the table. Luckily it didn't spill on him or the other girl, but still...

"Ugh...I can't stand this!" he said, hitting his hand on the bench he was sitting on out of frustration.

Inuyasha broods on top of a building like usual these days. It had been a while since he had seen Kagome. He was kinda of worried. What if she went home? Well ... if she did, he wouldn't be so worried. It'd mean she'd be back with the others right?

He could trust them to take care of her... but then the only problem would be him getting back too.

His attention gets caught by a certain smell, one he'd come to know and enjoy if that doesn't sound strange enough. It was ... he looks down to see Kagome.

"Kagome!?"
