Her hands were filled with boxes and bags of presents that she had bought for many of the people of the town. As she wandered around, she sighed as she realized that she had been there for a little longer then a year.

Kagome bumped into someone, but it wasn't a human being... well full human being anyway. More of a half-demon if you want to be technical. Inuyasha was a bit surprised to find Kagome having so many things in her hands. He had just decided to find her after picking up her scent.

"Kagome?" he blinked. "What're you doing with all those bags and stuff?"

Kagome stepped back at smiled at him. It had been awhile since she had seen Inuyasha, so she threw her arms around his neck, something that was rather impressive with all of the bags. "Inuyasha!"

At his question, she stepped back and pulled something out of her bag. She smiled hesitantly at him. "Well...its the Christmas season and I thought maybe I would celebrate it this year. I've been here for a year, you know and I thought that this would raise my spirits." She showed Inuyasha the weed that was in hand. "This is mistletoe..you're suppose to kiss anyone whose underneath it."

He forgot just how strong Kagome could be. That and the weight of the bags caught him off guard. For a moment he blinks. Christmas, yeah he remembered. He heard about it from Kagome's time. And she even brought some of the holiday cheer to the Feudal Era a few times.

His initial response to his comment caused a slight blush.

Then he thought, how could a weed mean that? Not that he was against what she was saying. He was just curious.

"Wha? How's a weed mean that?" he tries to fathom the idea.

You might want to change that title. XD

Ken stumbled back slightly with a grunt, though his tone was completely apologetic.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention," he stammered before he looked up and smiled. A bag of packages crinkled on his arm.

"Oh, Kagome-san. I am really sorry," he said again.

LMAO...that's why its a bad idea to post when sleepy. XD

Kagome looked really upset, when he grunted. "Ken-san!"

She shook her head and she smiled at him. "Ken-san, it was my fault! I wasn't looking where I was going and besides, its not like anything was breakable."

Ken lifted his hand and ran it through his hair as he awkwardly tried to smile the slight away.

"No, no, it's okay! I wasn't paying attention either," he insisted. The bag on his own arm slipped upwards slightly. He noticed her packages and smiled.

"Christmas?" he asked. It seemed to be what everyone did this time of year.

She smiled at him. "Okay then it was both of our faults. Nothing is broken is it?"

She sighed and glanced down at her packages. "Yeah, I thought to decorate my apartment and things like that. I also have some presents for some people too."
