Now that things had calmed down on Salkia, Cissnei had begun to move back into her normal schedule of patrolling the island, always on the lookout for new arrivals and monsters that might stray near the village. As she moved toward the mountains, she used the time to clear her mind, falling back on to the autopilot and her natural instincts to keep a eye out on what was around her.

Those nightmares had affected her more than she was willing to let on. But they were gone now, something she was more than thankful for. It was typical of Salkia to do things like that, then lull them into the false sense of security and then doing something just as bad once again. She knows this by now, it's been almost two years since she had arrived to this place.

A low growl slashes though the woman's thoughts, and she turns to the source of the noise. A Rafgins, large and prowling it's territory.

Luckily, it had not noticed Cissnei yet. She, however, had not noticed the other person in the vicinity with her as well.

Sesshomaru, on the other hand, could sense her presence, but she was unimportant right now. He was focused on the creature before him. It was in his way. Releasing his Light Whip, he slashed the creature several times in a blink of an eye.

The Whip put away, Sesshomaru continued on his way, intent on ignoring the woman.

She was intent on the monster, calculating with how much she knew about them if there would be a chance that she could pass it without fighting. However, that option seems thrown away very quickly with the...Light appears and slashes the monster up. Cissnei shifts her Shuriken in hand, eyes narrowing as she follows the weapon source back to it's master.

For a moment, she sees the other as someone else. Long silver hair, impossibly tall, in her world there is only one like that. "Sephiroth-" She murmmers, eyes locking onto the back of the retreating man.

She would of been loud enough for him to hear.

Sesshomaru would have heard her if she had whispered the word. The word, he guessed, being someone's name. While he had no intention of dealing with this woman, her error did need to be corrected. He stopped and turned.

"No."

[i_am_kagome]

Kagome was wandering when she saw a familiar demon standing near by the shore. She had gone there to try to feel better about the nightmares that she experienced. She stopped for a second and thought about continuing on her way but after a second she walked up to him.

"Sesshomaru?"

He didn't bother turning. He had sensed her presence as she came near. At first, he declined to answer her, but she did assist him, and because of that respect, he spoke.

"Yes?"

She walked up next to him and she stared out over the water. She was surprised that he answered her but she knew better then let it show.

"Did you...experience any of the nightmares?"

"Nightmares? I do not sleep, so nightmares are impossible."

Atem should have learned by now that it was never a good idea to keep Kaiba Seto waiting. It tended to lead to situations that might just be a little startling to any other residents nearby. In fact, it might lead to situations just like this one.

"BLUE EYES WHITE DRAGON," Kaiba cried, slapping a card down on his Duel Disk. "BURST STREAM!"

What appeared to be a giant white dragon suddenly appeared, visible at least through out the entire park. It roared and released a burst of white energy, the Duel Disk on Kaiba's arm producing the wind and the force that made it all feel very real.

The brunet was smirking. At least all the work he had spent on remaking those holograms had been worth it. Of course, he was so focused on checking over the holograms that he was oblivious to anyone else who might be in the area.

Sesshomaru heard the voice call the creature before it appeared, so he was not surprised. As he drew closer, he discovered the creature had no aura--that it was nothing more than a trick. He was not impressed.

"Hmph."

The sound was enough to finally catch the CEO's attention. He glanced around, trying to pinpoint the source of the sound. The white hair he saw out of the corner of his eye immediately put him in mind of the man who used to live in the mountains, or Bakura. Kaiba tensed, suddenly quite wary of the newcomer.

"Something bothering you?" he said coldly, finally turning to stare down the newcomer. Kaiba wasn't particularly impressed. The man looked like he was a reject from Halloween.

Sesshomaru was not intimidated. He returned the human's stare with one of his own. "I am not impressed with your trick."

Totally a Time Paradox but this must be done!

[Inuyasha was still getting used to this place. He stood by the lake just caught in his own line of thoughts... until he smelled something familiar...]

I'd know that scent anywhere ... Sesshomaru ...

Sesshomaru had made no effort to conceal his approach, having recognized the scent of his younger brother. As usual, InuYasha almost failed to sense him. His voice was dripping with disdain as he greeted him. "InuYasha."

[It's not everyday he had a conversation with Sesshomaru besides fighting ... and one sided arguing ... and chasing Naraku...]

Looks like you got stuck here too... this Salkia Island or whatever.
