Sure, the library was nice.
But somehow Beyond sometimes needed to own things. Usually though... he didn't buy them. At least not with legal money.
But well, there was always a first time.

Right now he was in the romance section. Yes, he was. The pale, creepylooking man with the black hair.
He had already found some detective novel to read and now he definitly needed something to sugarcoat his brain with.

Even if B didn't appreciate the writing style of most them, he still always found himself reading.

Sakura was browsing the selves when she became aware of someone else wandering into this section of the store. Her eyes instinctively flickered to look at the newcomer, and she was surprised to see someone like this man in the romance section. It was odd, but then she figured she had no right to judge someone for their reading choices. Ever if it was weird! She tried to force her attention back to the books on the selves.

Eventually, she pushed the man's presence to the back of her mind, seeing as he didn't seem to pose any threat to her. This is how, in her distraction of looking at one title after another, she brushed her shoulder against the other person.

Beyond had just been completly focussing on the backcover of some unbelievably-unique-and-funny-lovecomedy-novel.
At the touch, he had to force himself to look up, quickly deciding to buy the book he had just been looking at.
He somewhat knew that it was not going to be worth it at all, but... damn it, he was bored and it didn't sound too bad.

Looking at Sakura, he just asked "Hmm?"

It wasn't the appropriate reaction, but he was somewhat to lazy for something else.

Kisara had never received a proper education, so there was a lot she didn't know ─ the fact that she had lived in Ancient Egypt and was now surrounded by the technology of the twenty-first century didn't help. She had already learned a vast amount since her arrival to Salkia, but it wasn't enough. She couldn't even carry on a conversation without bombarding the other person with dozens of questions! And she wanted that to change ( ... )

Sakura had finally found a book that didn't have a title that made her cringe and had begun reading the blurb to see if it would prove of any interest to her. She was aware someone else was near her, but she had no reason to really take full notice of said person. At least she didn't until the person spoke.

Sakura looked up from the book to see a young woman with long hair looking quizzically at the book in her hands.

"What is it?" the kunoichi asked, wanting to help the girl, but also slightly curious as to what could be so confusing.

At the sound of someone else's voice, she looked up, surprised to see another girl standing near her. She had been so focused on the books that she hadn't realized there were other people in the shop, let alone someone who would overhear her. She felt a bit bashful now, but she held out the book for the other girl to see.

"Ah, it's this word here," she said, pointing to a passage in the book with her finger. "Do you know what a 'vampire' is?"
