Larxene arrived and glanced in. She stood for a few seconds with her arms crossed and an eyebrow raised. Obviously they went through a lot of trouble for this stupid little brat.

The blond walked around the mess hall as she examined the different people. She was quiet and watchful with a smirk on her lips. Although she talked a lot of smack, she was intelligent and she would rather know the people she was up against. Although it did seem as though they extend an invitation just for her.

She approached the food table and she glanced at it. She was a Nobody so she did not eat regular food but that did not stop her from glancing at it.

"So where is the brat?" She asked the room at large.

At his laugh, she turned half away. She turned and crossed her arms at the rest of his taunting. Anger started to flow through her that this stupid ignorant little human would dismiss her!

She glared at him "How Dare you speak to me like that! It is time that you learn who your better is!"

As she went to hurt him, she stopped and smirked slightly and glanced back over at Mokuba. "Or is this little boy that causes you to be so protective." She sends off a lightening bolt in the general direction of Mokuba. "Watch how you talk to me or the next one will hit him. I have very good aim." With that she shot another bolt at Kaiba. This one was higher in intensity then the first one that she hit him with.

The brunet stepped forward when she shot the lightning towards Mokuba, his heart almost stopping. No...he couldn't afford to reveal his concern, else it put his brother into even more danger. He had to keep her focused on him. Thankfully, he didn't have to try very hard to draw her back.

His back arched hard against the wall, his jaw clenched hard against the pain burning through his body. He refused to cry out or scream. No matter who it was, he wouldn't give them that satisfaction.

"I can't help but point out the obvious," he murmured, forcing his voice to stay steady. "It's very telling that you would run away to a useless child instead of finishing the job. It must be hard to be so scared all the time."

She did have to give him some credit for not screaming. Unfortunately some people had noticed and were starting to look over.

She walked over him and stood in front of him. He towered over the short blond but she was not afraid. Standing quietly for a few seconds, she continued to look at him and after a few seconds, she reached up to gently tap his cheeks in a very condensing manner.

"I think there are way to many people here...we will have to continue this conversation later." She went into her portal and disappeared.

Those sharp blue eyes narrowed and stared straight into hers. Kaiba didn't even flinch when she touched him, and his eyes never wavered. His chin was lifted proudly, and his stare was very reminiscant of how someone would stare down some sort of ant crawling across their shoe. But he wasn't going to push things any further. She was leaving and by extension was leaving Mokuba. It would be enough.

"I'm sure I'll hear you coming," he scoffed as she faded away, though inwardly he slumped in relief. The threat to Mokuba had passed, at least.
