Atem hadn't really been expecting to see anyone here. In his sour mood he might have liked some more alone time, but he'd been getting that in heaps lately. It was mainly his own fault. He was distancing himself, but it didn't do well to let others see you suffer.

Smilingly slightly when he noticed Lelouch, he nodded. "It has been some time." He replied. Lelouch was mysterious sometimes, and disappeared often enough. But he was dependable and trustworthy. Atem thoroughly enjoyed his company, but in a case like this he thought it might not do him well to keep it. Lelouch was ... incredibly intuitive and the Pharaoh wasn't quite sure if he wanted to be found out just yet.

"Were you going for a ride?" It seemed like the bulk of the people here didn't know how to ride a horse, were too young, or didn't even know what a horse was. It was fine with him, really, it just meant more alone riding for him.

"It doesn't seem like anyone is enjoying themselves here." He commented absently. So had it all been some sort of mass punishment given to them by the girl? He hadn't thought so, and yet it was so ill planned on her part... Especially with the heartless. She couldn't have enjoyed seeing them suffer. He hadn't known very many evil children in his life. It was hard to believe.

But once he shook himself out of his own thoughts about the situation, he did nod slightly. "Riding is the only thing I've taken to enjoy here." Even if Kaiba had ruined it by his little tirade a few days ago. It wasn't enough of a deterrent. He hadn't done anything wrong.
