Who: Anti-Sora and OPEN! Where: Camp barn When: Evening What: Anti is hungry - goats, chickens, cows, sheep, and whatever else that gets in his way is on the menu. Warnings: Gore
Mokuba was wandering around and exploring without going out of the camp. He saw the barn and decided to check it out, wondering what kind of animals were in there.
When he walked inside, he stopped and stared. Those... did not look like normal animals. And that... was a lot of blood.
Glowing yellow eyes of dozens of heartless locked on Mokuba. Anti gazed at the boy and as soon as he saw him he knew this was a kindred to the one he had been following. Heartless started to crawl along the floor towards that beating heart of a human and Anti did not stop them. He didn't care one way or the other if this boy died by the claw of his kin.
He took another bite of a pig heart while he just watched his little newly created heartless draw nearer and nearer to the pulsing heart of a human.
Mokuba froze and stared with wide eyes at all the things crawling along the ground towards him. He noticed one human shaped one sitting nearby and was about to call out to it when he saw it take a bite out of what looked like a raw heart.
He felt sick to his stomach. Wanting to explore the barn seemed like a not so good idea anymore.
Anti could practically smell the fear wafting from the child. As could his kin. Well the child had foolishly not decided to run (not that he could outrun a heartless). Anti watched as his a few heartless started to crawl up Mokuba's legs and he merely kept eating his pig-heart.
Claws and fangs bit into Mokuba. For as small as the heartless were their fangs were still razor sharp. Their claws were still needle cruel. They bit and and nipped and scratched through cloth to get at flesh and blood beneath. They could all feel his pulse racing. They could all hear the banging organ rage in the cage of his ribs. He would be so delicious. A human heart, a delicious human heart to devour and ravage. When one heartless tore open the cloth, another heartless was right there to claw into the skin. Teeth tore into cloth and loud ripping noises filled the barn.
At such a feat of a human heart, more and more heartless started crawling towards Mokuba until the floor was pitch black.
After an exhausting day of having to find both horses after the terrible end to Kaiba's conversation, he was rather upset. The horses both had decided to be wily and annoying when he tried to get them back, but eventually he'd gotten them under control.
Atem was tired and emotionally worn as he rode slowly back to the stables. But no matter how incoherent he was, how could he not miss the smell of blood seeping through the very air. It was coming from the barn, no doubt about that. So after escorting the horses back to the stables he made a quick turn back.
The spectacle there had him raising an eyebrow. What on earth had caused all that? And it might have unhinged him a bit more if he hadn't been able to see the source of all that.
That... thing... things. He didn't know what they were, but he'd seen them before. He made a very distasteful face at the one he knew he recognized. "And I don't suppose you're going to clean that up." It wasn't a very healthy environment, that was for sure.
He gazed at Atem with yellow eyes and then went back to eating his heart. The other heartless saw him however they all sensed the darkness in this one. Not enough to beat Anti-Sora's because they could sense light as well. But there was enough darkness there that the heartless paused in their swarm. Should they attack? Should they feast?
Anti merely gazed at Atem and continued to eat. Clean up? He saw no reason too. He would never destroy his kin unless they attacked him or his Heart and he had no care for the animals.
He wasn't really sure what to make of these things.. or the situation he had unwittingly just placed himself in. If anything, he remembered Kaiba talking about light, flashlights, and in the world shift he had said something about a Duel Disk's light... So they were harmed by it, was his best guess.
It was dark outside, but he could generate a bit of light by tapping into the power of his puzzle. However, he reconsidered that route when he saw them stop for a moment. Maybe they wouldn't attack.
Maybe he should turn heel and leave while he had the chance. But... then what about the rest of them? Would they spread and cause havoc to the rest of the camp?
"You made all of these?" Atem tried again, not understanding that Anti couldn't speak.
Anti finally stood and the other heartless took that as their cue to scatter into the shadows. He gazed at Atem, blood completely covering his mouth, claws, and even the front of his neck. So, this one wished to speak with him. Well, he supposed he could oblige. At Atem's question he nodded. But simple creation did not mean control, if someone stronger than Anti came along, they would all follow.
Yuuki spent most of the day looking around and familiarizing herself with her new surroundings. She was passing the barn when the familiar scent of blood caught her attention. She paused and turned to enter the barn. Suddenly she was rather thankful that Jing had fed her earlier.
As she entered the barn she took note of the blood before noticing the peculiar creature she had become acquainted with.
"I see you were able to find a food source that isn't human...and some friends."
The other heartless held no interest in Yuuki, sensing what she was as soon as she entered. They did not feast on a heart that provided nothing. Anti, however, liked this one... as much as he could like anyone not his Heart or master. He crawled along the floor until he was near her and then sat in front of her.
She smiled and knelt down, lowering herself so that she was at his level.
"Hey. Glad I didn't find a dead human."
She looked over at the other heartless and noticed that they took no particular interest in her. She suddenly remembered being told that she smelled of sunshine and how the other dark beings shied away from her in that other world. Then again, she didn't imagine a vampire's heart was appealing to them. It may still beat and she still acts incredibly human, but she was still a vampire.
"It seems your friends aren't as friendly as you."
She was right about being a vampire. If she weren't... if she were a human smelling as she did they would have devoured her as soon as she had crossed the threshold. She was warm and light and everything they wanted, everything they enjoyed feasting upon. But a dead heart was a dead heart even if it beat. It would be like eating wet ash. Anti watched her and just gazed at her. She was a bit like their old master. She was still a vampire and he remembered the darkest one feeding on the bloody hearts Anti brought him.
He shifted through his hearts until he found a cow heart and held it up to Yuuki for her to drink from.
Kagome was wondering around when she happened to see a barn. She was hot and all she wanted was some shade. As she closer to the barn, she felt uncomfortable and she stopped and stared at it. She felt as though there was something wrong but she kept walking.
After she opened the door, she walked in and allowed her eyes to adjust. She walked in and saw Anti. She recognized him and although she was not sure what he was, she knew that he was dangerous. She froze in fear and stared at him. "What are you? What do you want!?
Anti just stared at her and wondered how stupid this girl must be to once again demand things from him again. Stupid girl. The other heartless that he had created instantly saw, sensed, and heard her. Quickly they began swarming to the pulsing heart. Anti paid her no mind as he continued to eat his fill of pig and cow hearts.
He watched as the heartless instantly went seeking the beating heart and the light contained within it.
At her voice, she noticed that they looked up and started towards her. She looked towards the other creature but noticed that he was eating. Turning she started to run but her foot caught and she went down hard. She searched inside of herself and hoped that her priestess powers would help her.
Lsrxene was sick and tired of dealing with the damn people on the island. She happened to see the barn and walked towards it. She opened the door after she entered she happened to see Anti eating. Leaning on the wall, she watched him. She had never seen a heartless make others so he might be stronger then she thought. It will not hurt figuring what she can about this creature before she tried to take him over.
Great, it was her. It seemed Anti was just not going to be allowed to eat in peace. He set down the heart he was eating and stood up. Blood covered his claws and mouth and dripped down the front of his neck. He watched her in silence, tendrils of darkness swirling around him. The weaker heartless didn't stop in their feasting. A weaker nobody was of no interest to them when Anti was near.
She watched him eat and stand. She had no desire to fight him at the moment...she needed more information. She noticed the tendrils that swirled, and if he reached those out to her, she would have to fight him. She continued to stand and wait. Her whole body alert...waiting to see what he would do.
