Kagome smiled at Cissnei as they entered the mall. Edward was coming later so for right now it was just Kagome and Cissnei. After her conversation earlier with Cloud, she was smiling somewhat. This should be a very interesting conversation. She was not quite sure how to bring it up but she knew that Cloud really wanted to know.

"So Cissnei, are you going with anyone?" she asked bluntly

Oh, that bristle is barely there. Way to make it turn into quite a bad thing quickly, Cloud. But Cissnei was good at keeping her cool, or at least she would like to think so. The girl exhaled slowly, hazel eyes keeping on him in a unwavering stare. "When you're talking about me, it's cause for concern." She replied back.

However... at his run on sentence, she she could well understand, considering she dealt with drunken and buzzed customers pretty much on the time. And it caught her off guard...Wait. Wait, this was Cloud, right?

Hold on a moment blondie, she's just going to turn her hard annoyed look into a surprised one briefly. Weren't they both deer in the headlights, eh?

Kagome hit her head with her palm at his statement. Wow her brother was a moron. At her brother's quick speech, she laughed. She could not help herself. Her brother really was an idiot. Walking up to him, she pushed him gently towards Cissnei.

She stood off to the side, as she smiled at them. Oh wow this is so romantic even though her brother was stupid. He obviously needed some help and she was there to help him. "Cissnei, he has a question for you and he's really nervous." She poked her brother and whispered "Ask her nicely and coherently!"

At the reappearance of that cocky attitude, even before he had spoken she was back to how she usually was, a snort escaping her. "I know better to listen to you." She replied curtly, ignoring him as he moved past in favor of going ahead to look at the dresses picked out for Kagome.

But oh, she was simmering with anger and perhaps a little embarrassment. What was she expecting, after all? And that last parting shot!

No wonder she wrote him off as 'that stupid jock.'

But anything further, Cissnei didn't bother to show. "Kagome, have you looked at this one yet?" Yep, like the whole exchange had never happened. She could totally do that.

Kagome's eyes widen as her brother said that to Cissnei and he walked away. She was really surprised that he patted her head. Despite everything, he showed her affection. But he really was stupid! "But...but...he really wants to ask you to the Prom Cissnei" She exclaimed before she could think better of it. She was incredible shocked and surprised by her brother's attitude. He never acted like that around her.

At Cissnei's words, she stared at her. "I...no I haven't seen that one!" She realized that Cissnei did not want to discuss it further so she let it drop. It was up to her brother to fix it now.

Ignoring Kagome's words about anything further on Cloud, Cissnei pulled one of the dresses that the assistant had picked out, eyeing the girl before handing it over. "You should try this one on." She told her, a brief smile crossing her face.

"Go on!" Any attitude she had about cloud seemed to be gone. Or at least she wasn't about to drop it on Kagome.

Kagome stared for a few seconds at Cissnei and realized that she would have to talk to Cloud alone and make him fix it. She stared at the dress that Cissnei handed to her. She did not grab it right way but reached out a hand to touch it lightly. She was surprised by Cissnei's smile and she smiled back.

"But but...its too beautiful...I couldn't...wouldn't dare." All thoughts of Cloud are gone, besides its not her mess to fix but her brothers.

"You asked me to help you look." She replied to the other, handing it to her and stepping back, hazel eyes watching the junior. "So you might as well try it on, right?"

Besides, the worst that could happen was she didn't like it!

"Its...too beautiful for me." She took the dress and blushed. "You have a great sense of style." She went to the dressing room with the dress. It fit her like a dream and she emerged and looked at Cissnei.

"well?"

"well, what do you think?"

She directed the other to the mirror on the other side, getting her to take a look at herself.

"Its...I can't wear this! Its too elegant for me!"

Kagome moved with the other girl to the other mirror. She felt pretty and the dress was gorgeous. She looked at Cissnei.

"Well what do you think?"
