England was just straightening his tie in the mirror when he heard the knock. He'd changed out of his sailing attire and into something a little less formal he'd picked up in one of the shops. A dark green suit and black coat would do for today.

"One moment!" He called, snatching an umbrella out of the stand. He opened the door with a friendly smile. "Right-o, shall we get started?"

It looked like he was getting used to the times quite quickly, as she gave an approval look. Though he looked rather admirable in his sailing clothes, this was something she was more used to. "Looks like you're catching up already. It suits you really nicely."

Returning his smile with a bright one of her own, she nodded as she stepped back to give him space. "Let's!"

"One must keep up with the times." England replied, checking he'd at least put the suit on properly. It seemed similar to his usual, if a little more simplified and less refined. "I thank you though. You're looking quite lovely yourself."

He stepped outside, closing the door behind him and quickly put his own umbrella up to save himself from getting soaked. Before long they were down the stairs and walking through puddles and streams to the town. "Not many people out today. Honestly, it's just a little shower."

"You're welcome, it's good to see that you're adjusting well." She laughs at the compliment; being one who never really over her appearance, which made even China more feminine than her (it was a sad fact), this was nice. "Thank you, though it's only simple, really."

Vietnam walked beside him, matching his pace as they headed towards town, sticking her hand out from under her umbrella to catch the few drops of rain. "Some people aren't used to the rain. Unlike us, with your constant rain and my wet seasons. Well, that means we won't have to deal with crowds, yes?"
