Uryuu was further to the south, enough so to be well out of sight, but not at all far enough to feel the Octava's reiatsu spike with chagrin. Having come to understand (after a great deal of grappling with the creature who insisted upon being called "Terriermon") that these small "Digimon" creatures were populous throughout the island, he came to the natural conclusion that Szayel Aporro had seen fit to experiment on one. Grimacing, he scooped Terriermon up into his arms, even as it continued talking, and moved in the general direction of the reiatsu.

Szayel turned as he felt the Quincy approaching, the dog-like thing in his arms looking up at him curiously when he stopped, before it's ears perked up at the sound of another creature talking.

"Terriermon?" it called out as the Octava let out an exasperated sigh. Wonderful, at least he wasn't the only one suffering.

Before Uryuu could try and restrain it, Terriermon had lept from his arms and begun to bound over to the source of the other voice, much like its canine namesake. A mild swear escaped him in a hiss before propriety could catch up- Terriermon would last no more than a few minutes, even against the least combat-oriented of the Espada. Grimacing, Uryuu surged forward with hirenkyaku once more, landing in front of Terriermon and the creature he presumed had called it.

Szayel just stood there, rather miffed, as the little bundle of puppy fluff struggled in his arms.

"Hi, Terriermon!" it squeaked, ears flopping all over the place in its enthusiasm.
