Who: Grimmjow, OPEN What: Waking up on the Island, his second day here, collecting his thoughts and possibly encountering others. When: January 21st Where: Salkia Forest Warnings: It's Grimmjow. He's a warning in himself. ( it's mine )
He had to say, while their conversation wasn't exactly enlightening in a self rewarding sense, it was pretty informative in another. Of course, in the end, it all still revolved around himself, but that was the way he worked. That was all that's important really, in the end.
This? This wasn't vital really. He could have just stayed at home and done nothing about it. Sure that'd be boring, and coming here wasn't really a great way to burn his time either... But it was something to do other than stare at trees all day long and listen to the network. Nothing really interesting on there either, save for talk of a murder. That was pretty fun for about ten seconds or so.
So out the door he went, trying to track down that wonderful little conversationalist. Where could he be? ... Oh there he was! Well that wasn't hard to find!
He did his best however to stay at least somewhat out of the way, materializing into a higher up branch in that forest, holding on to one of the thicker branches as he balanced easily up there. The damage looked

The Arrancar trudged through the forest, not seeming to care about the blood leaking from his wounds. He had spent a whole day lying about already. There was no more time to waste. Either he found that girl or he had to find someone else to heal these wounds. There was no way in hell he was gonna sit around and wait for them to heal over time. He was a restless man. he needed action and he needed to be at his best. The strongest

Oh, fast thing, wasn't he? At least, it didn't take him long to sense the monsters presence here. Not that it was, in and of itself, impressive. The beast priest himself felt a rather nice amount of energy radiating from the being below him, so he had to be of some either magical or spiritual credit.
He'd even managed to locate which tree he was in. Now wasn't that surprising? Xellos didn't even seem the least bit concerned, arching a brow as Grimmjow charged at the tree. Before that blow met the trunk, he'd already figured out what the plan pretty much was. Not like the man below was being subtle or anything.
He was gone before the first shard ever snapped off the tree, vanishing in a disjointed haze and what almost sounded like the discharge of electricity. Not that he'd be gone for long, the monster simply reappeared in a tree a slight distance away from the last. He wasn't hiding now though, the distinct sound of laughter proof enough of that.
Those blue eyes, yet again, followed the source jump to another tree, and his ears picked up the laughter. The bastard was playing with him now. His lips twitched in irritation his growl of anger muffled out by the crash of the tree he had just pretty much destroyed. Once it hit the ground, Grimmjow bent his knees and leaped up into the air, high above some of the trees before spotting the dark haired man. That was indeed the source.
No one looked down upon him. No one laughed in his presence, let alone at him. This bastard thought he was so damn sneaky? Confident? Well he wouldn't be after Grimmjow was through with him; ripping out his vocal chords so he wouldn't be able to laugh at him anymore.
He hovered for a brief moment before he rushed down towards the tree, and outstretched his foot, intending to smash the tree branch.
Kagome gasped as she saw the man in front of her trying to stand. There was blood everywhere and it caked his skin and clothing but he was still moving. Wounds like his would have been fatal to a human so obviously this being was not human.
As she approached cautiously, she remembered him from the LP. He was the one saying that he was going to destroy the Island. Obviously his wounds had not gotten better since the day before and clearly he was in pain but Kagome hesitated. She did not want to help him in order for him to destroy everyone else. Although this Island was not her home there were still decent people here, some of them her friends and no one deserved to be hurt or even killed. It was against her nature to leave someone who was injured when she knew she could help them so for a few minutes she stood and pondered...not quite sure what path to take.
Grimmjow glanced towards the woman. He scoffed and only walked past her. Some human. Not worth his time. He continued on his way, limping and bleeding as he still left a trail in the grass, though there was no telling how far the Espada could make it in his condition. But he was pretty headstrong about the whole thing really. He continued to walk even in his critical state.
Kagome stared in surprise as the man started walking. As he walked past her and did not speak to her, she watched him. She could tell that each step caused him a lot of pain. He did mention about destroying the whole place so she was not sure if he was evil or not but she could not feel a demon Ora around him.
"Hey wait! You shouldn't be walking in your condition?" Kagome ran up and tried to take his weight. "I don't know what you are but you really should take it easy."
Szayel had a feeling it was only a matter of time before one of his fellows showed up, but he supposed he should be considering himself blessed when he sensed the weakened reiatsu coming from the forest. It was just Grimmjow, an injured Grimmjow at that. It could have been much worse; like, oh say... Aizen.
The Espada flicked his fingers idly as he made his way casually into the forest, an amused smirk on his face. It wasn't long before he found the trail of blood, and the person fumbling through the trees like a lost kitten.
"Such a suitable position for you, Grimmjow," he sneered after a moment, the sarcasm practically dripping from his voice. "I'm so fortunate to have lived long enough to see it."

Grimmjow leaned heavily against a tree to catch his breath, crimson lings running down the trunk's bark before he saw that head of pink hair, and that spiritual energy. It was no doubt number eight of the Espada. His sharp blue eyes rolled in their sockets, facing Szayel with an irritated look on his bloody face
( ... )
"From the looks of things, I will be the last thing you ever see," Szayel quipped, trying (and failing) to hide the amusement on his face. Ah, a plaintive cry for help from the noble king; he paused a moment, closing his eyes and savoring that which he would never hear again, before taking a step closer.
Grimmjow didn't find that joke very amusing as a growl vibrated in the Espada's throat before he stood up straight, pulling his shoulders back, despite the pain that shot through his left one. The only sign of pain was his lips twitching, but he tried to compose himself in front of the snarky bastard. All of them were the same. Pecking at him whenever he was weak. He wasn't some damn kid.
He spat some blood off to the side and snorted before, stuffing his hands in his pockets, smiling with blood stained teeth. "You will if you know what's good for you."

A few soft steps echoed from the chiropteran as she stepped through the forest. A twig snapped under her foot, but she paid no mind to it, her blue eyes apathetically scanning the dull forest. She had still been keeping herself in the forest, finding no reason to venture into the city. Yet.
Taking a few more steps, she instantly froze when a new heartbeat rang in her ears. Her head turned in the direction that it came from, and she tilted her head. They were close. A curious look crossed her face, and in an instant, she sped off to see who was here in the forest with her.
It took her no longer than a minute to find the source, her speed making it easy to find the other. Stopping a little ways off from the other, she gave a childish grin. "Someone has a big boo-boo~ Haha!"
Grimmjow lifted his gaze and stopped where he was, narrowing his eyes as he was trying to gather what he was seeing. His eyes fluttered for a moment before he regained his stability. He stomped his foot onto the ground, as if to wake up his senses. Those wild eyes of his focused on the woman and he scoffed, tilting his head back to stare her 'down'.
"Shut the fuck up..." he growled as his shoulders slumped slightly in exhaustion, but his arms and legs looked tense enough to leap into action. But he was a little wary about this woman. It didn't look like a good sign; a defenseless woman walking out towards someone like him? It was laughable, in which a chuckle rumbled in his throat, but he shook his head. You couldn't judge a book by its cover after all. If anything, he looked more like a creature backed into a corner, ready to swipe out with his claws if need be.
The smile faltered from her face instantly at his words. "How rude." The blank look crossed her features yet again, and she took a step forward towards the other. The blood covering him was very enticing. It had been a while since she fed, unfortunately, and the blood she was seeing was quite welcoming. Blue eyes started to glow, and she continued walking towards the other.
"I wonder what your blood tastes like~" Her tongue ran across her lips slightly, and she continued moving forward, eager to get a free sample of the other's blood.
Grimmjow's eyes widened a fraction and his limbs bending into a defensive position. He gritted his teeth, however, exposing them in a primal way of intimidation. His blood? He had lost enough of it already, and there was no way he was gonna let this bitch take it away from him, let alone drink it. That just sounded fucking disgusting. His lips twitched in a snarl as he watched her approach.
"Back off," he scoffed as he bent his knees a little more, ready to spring. Her movements were fluid. Grimmjow, himself, was more brash in his movements. That fancy graceful shit was a waste of the Espada's time. Go in for the kill, that's all you needed to do.

Though he had been fortunate enough to avoid Szayel Aporro thusfar, it seemed Uryuu's luck with avoiding enemies from his world had run out. Though he had never met the Arrancar, if the reiatsu, weak as it was currently, stood as any indication, this was an Espada. Judging by his injuries, it was likely he would seek out a healer... And Uryuu doubted there were any in Las Noches who would be half so skilled as Inoue-san, with whom the Espada may well have made acquaintance with.

There was a sharp turn of Grimmjow's head as he sensed a reiatsu. It felt pretty strong in itself. He was no state to stand up to whoever this was. He had never felt this spiritual power before. Another shinigami? Or another damn human like that girl who healed him before? No matter. If they got in his way, he'd make them get out of his way by force. But there was no telling with his condition, if he could stand against a Quincy.
xD Grimm best respect!idiotequesJanuary 28 2010, 23:40:09 UTC
Making a first move now would likely prove more prudent than simply lurking and waiting for the Arrancar to find reason for aggression. Even in this injured state, he would doubtless be capable of a great deal of carnage, something Uryuu wished to avoid at all costs. Moving with hirenkyaku, he came to a stop close enough to attack if necessary, but also far enough to leave reaction time against a frenzied sword swing. The Ginrei Koujaku was absent from view, but his hand was poised to conjure it at any time. With any luck, perhaps this one could be reasoned with it, though Uryuu was well aware how very optimistic that thought was.
He noticed his stance and was gave it a curious glance before he slowly smiled. Well, this human knew about his kind at least. Good. No need for introductions then. Perhaps he was a friend of Kurosaki's? Eh, well, Grimmjow didn't give a damn as he stood up straight, tilting his head to the side with a chuckle.
