Who: Hyuuga Neji and Kurosaki Ichigo.
What: Sparring.
When: January 1st, Evening.
Where: The forest clearing, where they always fight.
Warnings: Blood, fighting, probably some cussing on Ichigo's side.

Ichigo had arrived just in time to see Neji punch the tree, and he could definitely tell that he was gonna be in for one hell of a ride. Bankai wasn't allowed, since he needed to work on his fighting ability without it since he'd gotten so used to using it all the time, and Neji was obviously upset about the fight with Rukia. If the shinobi was pissed, that meant he'd be venting it out through the fight, Ichigo could tell that much.

"Punchin' trees eh?" The orange haired teen asked, pulling the hood of his red hoodie off of his head. It was pretty damn cold, and the snow was definitely going to make this even more interesting.

He didn't need to hear Ichigo's voice to know that he was there now. Though, once he did hear him, the brunet slowly turned to look at him over his shoulder, his features vacant now. He wasn't going to let his emotions show through, but they were obvious by how he had just punched a hole in the tree.

``I suppose so,`` he replied, pulling his fist from the wood and lowering it to his side, turning to face the other male fully.

Ichigo swung Zangetsu up and onto his shoulder (since he had to carry it by hand because he was wearing normal clothing. He really needed to find another shihakuso soon)and shot the other teen a grim look.

"You wanna talk about what happened while we fight? Or after?"

Neji watched him silently, contemplating what he was supposed to answer with and also trying to decide what weapons he was going to use first. He didn't really want to use any of them, but then he would have brought the sai, two pairs of bladed fans and tonfa out for nothing.

So, he moved and picked up the sai blades first, twirling them in his hands then gripping the handles tightly.

``... during,`` he finally answered and lunged at the other male, slicing out at him rather quickly.

The orange haired teen eyed the sai blades, and when the brunette moved, Ichigo brought Zangetsu down quickly to block the slash. He used his weight to push Neji back, letting some of his reiatsu kick up around him to assist with the strength of it. This could end up bad for him if he didn't take it seriously.

"Alright, let's start then! I can see why you're mad at her but dontcha think you're bein' a bit over dramatic?!" Ichigo shot, scowling at the brunette.
