Unfortunately for her, Ichigo wasn't late. He'd made sure to leave early for once, and he'd never admit it but it was cause he was anxious to see her reaction to the gifts he'd gotten her.

The orange haired teen knocked on the door to her house a couple of times, and when there was no answer he decided to just let himself in.

Ichigo was a little surprised at the decorations, and even more surprised at the fact that he couldn't see Rukia anywhere. The smell of the room made his head spin just a little, but not in a bad way. It was nice, intoxicating would have been the proper word.

After he took off his shoes, Ichigo made a face, set down the two wrapped presents and headed for her room, knocking on the half opened door lightly.

"Rukia?"

Rukia had dried off in the shower and stepped out with the towel wrapped around her. She started to run a hand through her wet hair when she heard Ichigo's voice. Automatically, she froze and looked towards the door. Luckily Ichigo happened to be at her bedroom door (which she left open as well) and not the bathroom's. She moved to approach the door, her body hiding behind her, ducking her head out. "Wait in there," she said as the water dripped off her hair into her shoulders. I'll be out soon." She closed the door and continued to get ready, rushing her pace since Ichigo arrived on time... sadly.

The orange haired teen blushed and nodded, very quickly turning and heading back into the living room. He grabbed the gifts from the floor and sat down on the couch, trying to pretend like that didn't just almost happen. The younger Shinigami was almost mortified, that could have been bad.

Ichigo waited anxiously, scowling at the wall harder and harder with each passing moment. Despite her telling him that it didn't matter what he got her, he was still worried about whether or not she'd even like it.

Rukia sighed as she pressed her back against the door. Man that was embarrassing. She had tried to calm herself down to rid the flush that came to her face.

She tied her hair up, putting it in a mid ponytail, leaving her one bang and some of the sections of her hair down. She stepped out of the bathroom with a long sleeve white shirt, with a loose blue tank top over it. Also clad in black pants, she walked into the living room. Her hair was only towel dried, but enough to not drip. "Ichigo." The heat came rushing to her face again as she approached him from behind the couch.

The sound of her voice made him jump, and he immediately plastered a smile on his face instead of a scowl as he turned to look at her. His cheeks flushed too at the sight of her own blush and all he could manage to choke out was her name.

"R-Rukia."

Ichigo definitely wanted to end the awkward moment as quickly as possible so he lifted the hand holding the gifts to offer them to her. One box was medium sized, and the other was small and rectangular, both wrapped in gold and red paper. Inside the medium box, there was a black and pink hoodie with bunny ears . The smaller one had a pair of decorative hair sticks.

"H-here..."
