Ritsuka walked out from behind one of the many shelves and went behind the counter. Now that his ankle was completely healed he was allowed to work again. He hadn't seen Kouya in a long time but that wasn't much of a surprise. It wasn't a pleasant time around her anyways. How was it he was able to get along with Yamato but not Kouya? Oh well... it wasn't that important. He saw the gentleman walk in and his ears perked. He headed over to him and bowed a little.

"Good morning sir, is there anything I can help you look for?" he asked as he watched the man. This was one of the newer arrivals.

Just as he was starting to read something about the cat in the chinese Zodiac he heard someone approach and address him. Without looking away from the book at first Hatori gave a simple reply as he did to most attendants in stores, "I'm fine, just looking for something to read." Closing the book he looked at the person that addressed him though since it sounded like a child rather than someone closer to his own age. Seeing the boy standing there and briefly taking in the ears and the tail Hatori was a little confused. There had never been two of the same zodiac at one time and even Kyo didn't transform only half way. A little interested since Akito would likely find out eventually and ask Hatori about it he pulled off his glasses, "Do you work here?"

The fact that he didn't recognize the child meant that he was obviously not a part of the Sohma family. So perhaps there was another cursed the same as they were.

Ritsuka's ears bent down and then perked. "Yes sir I do," he knew it was a little odd, a child working. He understood that it wasn't common in most worlds. But there wasn't any school so Ritsuka was bored all day just sitting and waiting for something to happen. Plus working at the book store got him to be around all the books he wanted. He could read all sorts of philosophy books or just... not kids books.

He saw Hatori look at his ears and tail. He was used to that too actually.

Well if there wasn't any school then it wasn't too odd for a teenager to pick up a part time job, maybe he was older than he appeared in either case it didn't bother Hatori much. Tohru had been working part time regularly since she had been staying at Shigure's and it was something constructive to do. As for the ear and tail, he wasn't staring but they had interested him a little but the other didn't seem to be sensitive about them. "Forgive me, I'm Hatori Sohma."

Returning what he was reading back to the shelf Hatori removed his glasses, "I was actually wondering if you had an antique books here. I haven't seen them the few time that I have come in."
