Who: Itachi and Neji
What: Itachi wants to know how Neji knows about the clan's death, and how in the hell he knows about Madara.
When: After this
Where: Middle of the lake, with traps all around.

Pushing through the tree branches, the Hyuuga landed gracefully on one of the higher ones, pale eyes glancing around the area with that byakugan. He had already been told that there would be traps, so he was searching them out, taking note of the ones that he could easily spot.

If he wanted, he could set off the kunai and shuriken, but he decided against even going towards those traps and jumped off the branch, heading in a different direction when he spotted Itachi on the lake.

Though, just to show that he was coming, he set off some of the explosive tags, body flickering away from the explosions just enough so he wouldn't get harmed.

Finally, Neji stepped through the haze of smoke, stopping right at the edge of the lake.

He frowned, and his eyes narrowed behind his mask, clenching his fist once ans shaking his hand out. He heard the explosions go off, the sound echoing out over the water to the center, where he stood. He concentrated, for a moment, picking up a chakra signature. It was unfamiliar to him, but it was there. So that meant that either the Hyuuga was on his way, and had been careless -he had mentioned the traps, hadn't he?- or there was another ninja about. He readied his sword, crimson eyes watching, waiting, ready to attack if it was not who he was expecting.

Neji hesitated at the lakes edge for a moment longer, staring down into the water before stepping onto the surface.

He spread the chakra out beneath his feet, waiting for a moment then rushing out further onto the water, though not in a threatening way. He wanted to see if this was really Itachi, if the island had brought him back in a younger form.

Once he was close enough though, he could sense that yes, it was Itachi and he stopped when he was a few feet away, pale eyes locking on the boy.

His eyes focused on the direction the signature was coming from. It was moving closer to him, at a fast pace, fast for one who did not carry a chakra system, but slow for a ninja. It made him wonder, and stand at ready.

When the Hyuuga appeared he paused, eyes narrowing before twirling and sheathing his sword with a fluid grace. He remained silent, staring back at him from behind the mask. It was odd, to have last seen this person as a nine year old child, now twice that age, and older then himself. Taller, as well. Unsettling, strange, and slightly disturbing. But as much as he wanted to think it was, it wasn't a genjutsu.
