After, he was sprinting towards the place that Zack had said he'd be, going a little slower than normal because of his injuries, but he didn't care.
He pushed the door open once he reached the bar, glancing around then moving towards the soldier once he spotted him. He hesitated, a concerned look on his features as he approached.
``Zack-san ...``

Maybe he shouldn't try to move his shoulder.
"Uh...hey," he smiled.

Instead, Neji moved and sat next to him, setting his hands into his lap now.
``What happened?`` he asked, apparently unable to keep the question back.

Maybe he could start somewhere in the middle.
"Have you ever told somebody you love them... when you love someone else?"

He chuckled when the question was asked. Physically? Maybe. But the two girls he loved.... Ha. He definitely did deserve the beating he had received earlier.
"No, not really."

He sighed.
"Yeah," he stared at the glass. "But I've had worse."

...Not the excruciating or awkward silence he was expecting here.
Entering, his eyes wandered to the form of the once SOLDIER, dropping his gaze back to the floor. Zack had taken quite the beating, just looking was evidence enough. With all that blood, it kind of reminded him of...
He took a deep breathe. ...Right. He wasn't supposed to be thinking of that.
Approaching, still quiet as when he entered, he sat down, keeping one stool between him and the other. It was a boundary thing, and a confrontation Cloud wasn't entirely ready for. The sound of a glass placed in front of him brought him back. Tilting his head to Zack, he frowned.
"...I thought you'd be better at fixing yourself up."

Hopefully.
He watched as the other silently sat on the bar stool and absently wondered about kicking away the one between them. Eh, he'd do it later. When the blond finally spoke he grinned. "Hard to do that when Yuffie steals your Curaga."

"I think I'm supposed to say you messed up." Cloud traced the rim of the cup with a frown. Cloud wondered why he'd be asked for advice for anything. He didn't think he was really good at these sort of things, it always perplexed him. He thought about smiling back, but he didn't really feel like it. "...Though I don't know if there's someone who hasn't."
He stared down the glass before taking a drink. "Mm, I think there are worse ways."

"Worse?" he asked. What could be worse (aside from dying again)?
