Double D took a moment to take a stroll. He had felt so lost lately, rooming with a girl... he found himself cramming himself into his bedroom, experimenting and inventing, and decided that he needed a hobby. Perhaps it was time to collect bugs and plantlife on this Island and make serious observations. As he was walking through, he came across the park... afterall, he wasnt feeling quite daring enough to attempt the forest.

Sure enough there was a familiar face... and Double D's face brightened up in inviting a wide smile. "Why, Ed! Good afternoon! My, I feel a bit neglectful to my friend, its been a while! How are-" He stopped a moment, noticing the small creature by Ed's side. "....Where did you find a dog?"

Hearing the familiar voice Ed shot to an upward position and removed the goggles from over her eyes before smiling, "DD, Ed was wondering if DD had left with all the others." Hearing the mention about Ein she scooped the dog up in her arms as it barked twice in greeting, "This is Ein, he followed Ed here."

At first Double D blinked... left with the others? Oh! "Oh... thankfully not! It is a little concerning, isnt it?" The boy chuckled nervously, sitting down next to Ed. "What a smart looking corgi!" He reached over to pet Ein, to scratch him behind the ear. "He looks like a wonderful companion!"

Kaiba was passing through the park, not even looking at who might be there or who might be in his way. He was trying to avoid people for now, and was honestly planning on avoiding people for some time. For the moment, he had latched on to working on the rafts he intended to use to break the barrier around the island. So of course, fresh off his shift at the arcade, Kaiba was walking back to the beach, a heavy coil of robe around his shoulders and some tools he had picked up for the job around his waist. He never even noticed Ed's presence.

He had to get home. Only then things would be the way they were supposed to be.

Seeing someone else Ein barked several times, pinning his ears back a little as he did so having picked on the ill mood surrounding Kaiba. Curious Ed sat up lifting the goggles to her forehead to look and see who it was, "KAIBA-PERSON!!!" The child shot and ran over towards the other being followed closely by the dog that didn't seem to think it was such a good idea.

Kaiba glanced over and grimaced. Oh, of course it would be one of the last possible people he wanted to deal with right now. The only one worse would have been Jing. Who, blissfully, had been absent so far. Still...Ed was annoying enough. The brunet cursed quietly and shifted the heavy rope around his shoulders so he looked burdened with it.

"..Just Kaiba would be appropriate," he said coolly, continuing to walk in hopes that the child would get bored and go follow someone else.

Ed kept circling Kaiba even after he pretended to be burdened with the ropes, following him. "What's Kaiba doing? Can Ed help?" The child actually looked erest for once in wanting to help as he barefeet slapped along the ground the small dog following not far behind the two occasionally barking and looking back. Suddenly Ed realized that she left the labtop and ran back after it, "Oops~" When she returned she was walking backwards with it balanced on her head. "Ed wants to heeeeelllllppppppp."
