The last few days, Himawari had stayed in her room, trying to read her LP or watch it, but after the fact that Watanuki hadn’t come back, she’d started to drift away from it. She reread her book, and hid out in her room as often as she could. She had taken Kohane some food the day before, and meant to do so again, but she had fallen asleep and found she drifted off, snuggling her bird in her bed

Doumeki felt...a lot better after the conversation he'd had with Watanuki. A sort of reaffirmation of the things that connected them, things that were still there, even if they'd been complicated and strained for a while. It seemed, at least, he wouldn't lose Watanuki. That Zero hadn't stolen him, or taken him out of his life, that Watanuki still wanted him around

"STOP DEMANDING FOOD AS SOON AS YOU ENTER PLACES!"

Watanuki scowled as he watched Domueki remove his shoes. He was drowning in Doumeki's outfit, and upon remembering the time Doumeki and Ichijou had shared following his death, he slowly slid his hand out from Doumeki's, looking around. He could smell the tea, and its familiar warmth made him smile, if only faintly.

"Thank you, Ichijou-kun. And... and you too, Himawari-chan..." he called out, a little light coming into his eyes. He was a bit nervous about Zero coming over. He walked into the living room, waiting as Doumeki followed him.

He had said he wanted him there and so he went. He had made up his mind already. Devotion. Even if it was split in three was still devotion.

He arrived at the vampire's place a bit later after the two and knocked on the door neither gently nor hard. His face blank.
