Sometimes you love someone. Or at least you like to think that at one point you loved loving them. And in the present tense, being around them is complicated and awkward, but there are occasional moments when you're like 'oh, that's why I put up with all of this bullshit'.
The important part about this thought is the BS. It sounds like the BS with this dude WAY over-weighs the possible good. Go stay with the 'rents, read a lot of good fiction, watch some porn, get out and go dancing and do whatever you need to do that does not involve sleeping with your ex.
I've found out through bitter understanding that there are reasons that we do not work with the people that we break up with. And if you go back to an ex, the same problems will still manifest themselves.
Also? Change your number.
