Drabble: Naruto - The Wrong Conclusions

Summary: Two drabbles (well, not technically, over 100 words but jotted down quickly before I went to bed) from Naruto and Sasuke's POV pre timeskip.

Sasuke was easily the best student in the class. Naruto had known this when he was eight, known this when he was nine

Aw, I really like these. My favorite line: "And Naruto, too loud and annoying (and ORANGE) for anyone to possibly ignore..."

He is indeed very orange. XD I never really thought about it, but I bet Sasuke must've found that weird since everyone in his family seems to be allergic to colorful clothing.

That is my favourite line too, because when I've read the manga chapter I've always thought...hey, that's just another way of asking if Naruto cares that much, like Sasuke can't quite believe it.

I really loved the parallelism here. It's always a nice route to use, but you used it well. Very well. Better than well. Well is such a lame word for this drabble of yours.

The last bit killed something in my soul though, so I'm going to go find happy fics to read.

Thank you! Originally I just scribbled out the first one with only Naruto's POV, but one thing I really like about Sasuke and Naruto's relationship is the balance. Sasuke gets one up on Naruto, Naruto gets one up on Sasuke and so on. It seemed only fitting to have a paralell, so I'm really glad to hear that it worked.

Sorry if it made you sad, that's Sasuke for you! Poor kid and his Itachi obsession.
