I love the description of Gabriel as "kind of slutty". And the observations about angel methadone and replacement/substitution behaviors was one of those sections where I went "Oh!" because, yes, exactly, I just hadn't realised it until you put it into words.

kind of hoping when they do meet up with Dean he isnt living the "apple pie life". Although it might be ironic Sam spending all this time avoiding him if he has already gone back to hunting, but it would at least avoid any guilt for disrupting his life. Although i have to admit even on the show i never really saw Dean as wanting the normal life as much as Sam did. Maybe having some nostalgic thoughts about what it would have been like if their childhood had been more normal, but not necessarily looking to change anything

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite stories ever. Your characterizations are amazing and I love the interaction between the three of them.
