I love, love, love the temple in the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest. It's one of the most outstandingly memorable environments in the game, visually speaking (which is really saying something!), and you are definitely right about the Gauntlet. Basically every part of it was deeply significant (and I so agree about the ghosts--I loved how they were able to work in the history and all of these personal accounts into the gameplay).

Regarding the Landsmeet... yes. I've never felt so legitimately anxious about the outcome of a scene in a video game.

I know, isn't it great? I don't really have the words to describe it outside of narrative--whenever I try I start going BUT IT'S SO COOL AND VAST AND THE ICE AND SNOW AND THE FEELING OF AGE AND IT'S SO MYSTERIOUS FLSFJSKLF. And I really love the ghosts. Shartan and Maferath get to me every time. And Archon Hessarian's wife gives me chills of oh my God you're scary.

Re: the Landsmeet: I KNOW, RIGHT? It never fails to have my blood pumping by the time it comes along.
