Oh, yeah. I totally agree with you on that, and that's the main reason why I just . . . can't side with the templars. It just seems so against everything about Hawke's background and story up to that point. I suppose I can imagine the kind of Hawke who would side with the templars, and various reasons to do so--I just don't want to play that person. And of course with a mage Hawke, it makes very little sense at all. I suppose if Bethany (HEY TRACY SPOILERS DON'T READ) had died in the Deep Roads it would make more sense . . .
Yeah, that was basically how I was playing him. As just basically giving the finger to everyone through his actions. It was the one time I could sell it to myself. He thought the Circle were a bunch of losers. Not a very . . . compassionate individual.
