Winterlicious 2011 & Anime North room stuff & Katsucon update

So I've been decidedly not on the ball about Winterlicious stuff this year. Reservations begin tomorrow, bleh. It's from January 28th to February 10th. Anyone interested in going? I'm open for either lunch or dinner and most days so long as it's not a Thursday (possibly not Tuesday either). We can narrow down the days based on who's interested

I would love to do Winterlicious again. I haven't looked at the list of restaurants, but any day would work for me, however a later time on weeknights is preferable.

How late a time would you prefer? And I've updated my post with tentative places/times so far.

Any lunch date/time I'm good with. For dinner I can be at Union at 6:45pm and walk/ttc to where ever. So probably looking for a 7pm or later reservation depending on how far it is.

Interest here. Pretty indifferent to place to eat. Pick a place/time and I'd likely be in. I like David suggestion of small dinner outside of *licious. I'd be up for something like that as well.

I'm going to attempt to actually get this going... sometime in the next little while, probably after I'm no longer busy attempting to upgrade job to full-time and move.

May start bouncing around ideas with people whenever I see them.

My schedule is fairly open, but I'm generally up for winterliscious madness. Most of my prefs are for the more unusual choices.

Ones that look good/I've heard good things:

I've heard good things about Ame
Trapper's looks interesting
C5 has cool location factor.

But I'm generally open to various ideas regardless. All about company and exploring.

Those restaurants are likely ones I might want to check out at a non-licious time (the licious menus at Japanese restaurants are often pricier than if you just went normally, for one, and you could get better stuff for the same or a lower price; I learned that lesson at Katsura >_<). We were at C5 for less than 5 minutes, haha! We were only looking for a quick bite to eat and C5 was decidedly not it. XD;

I'm most interested in a weekend lunch. I think my schedule is wide open right now. Of the above listed restaurants (thanks for making a list) I like the sound of Prime, Rosewater, Sassafraz, Bier Markt and Citrus. The 5th or 6th work for me. :3
