Buskerfest & FanExpo

I swear I'm not just posting because I'm bored at work and totally itching to sew. Though I did manage to finish sewing buttons on during my break. :D

Buskerfest started today. I thought it was last weekend for some reason. It's not even a block away from work so I wandered down there with a coworker during our lunch break for a short while since ( Read more... )

transport, never getting that piece of paper

Buskerfest is fun! The one year that I skipped CNA entirely (maybe 2004? I can't remember without checking my memories on lj) we went to buskerfest instead. I hate that they tend to overlap each year. >_>

That's like how Doors Open Toronto always overlaps with Anime North. If the former overlapped with CN, I'd be all over going to Doors Open instead of CN. :P And while I did miss out on CN last year, IDK...just not really feeling it anymore for this con. I mean, I want to see everyone, for sure, but...

Thank goodness for LJ!memories/calendar. I couldn't remember which year I had eye surgery until I looked it up in my calendar. XD

Yeah! 85, baby! *dances*

Also, lelola, would you be up for a dinner or lunch with Li-Chao and Masashi? Li-Chao was checking when we'd be free though the only weekend we have left (before school starts) is Saturday, Sept 6th.
I should be free then. Hopefully. We can listen to Masashi-san tell crazy stories. XD

Yuuuuuup. Totally kicked my butt. Your mark laughs in my mark's face. XD

Well, keep that whole weekend free for me :DD, anyhow♥ :) Li-Chao-san apparently emailed you, too, but I suppose you haven't touched that email in a while. I'll just tell him myself.

Those look exactly like HK's trains! O_O

Almost. The seating arrangement is still typical to what we have now while HK had their seats all along the wall of the car... Yamanote line and most subways in Tokyo were like that, too, come to think of it. But, yeah, that aside, isn't it just like HK's?? Too bad it couldn't come with HK's system. D: That one is made of so much more win.

I come from Woodstock... land of bus lines that stop at 6pm... so even the aging Red Rockets are awesome to me. These new ones look so shiny *__*;

I never had issues with the TTC before. ...until I went to Tokyo and was totally blown away by their extensive train/subway systems. *___* And HK's was also really nice. And cheap. Pretty cheap. And even Japan's isn't bad when comparing to the distance travelled. They were all way cheaper, even if pay-by-distance, to TTC's flat rate. And so much more extensive. *still jealous* So...probably would have been more content with TTC if it weren't for that. Oh, and the fact that the service and quality has been consistently deteriorating as more time passes on. :x Okay, I'll stop complaining now. XD Still want my shiny Japanese or HK trains!
